Oscars
Since 1929, the Oscars have recognized excellence in cinematic achievements. We celebrate artistry and innovation in filmmaking, inspire new generations to share our love of cinema and storytelling, preserve our global film history, and connect film fans around the world.
We use the brand elements outlined on this page to bring this mission to life.

Logo

Logo Clearspace
It is important that the logo is given ample clearspace from the margins and other elements to ensure clarity.
The minimum clearspace is equal to the vertical height of the Oscars logo.

Logo Color
Our logo can only be used in Academy gold, white, and black.
If applying the logo over imagery, ensure there is high contrast between image and the logo for legibility.

Logo Misuse
It is important that the appearance of the logo remains consistent.
It should not be reinterpreted, modified or embellished.
No attempt should be made to alter the logo in any way.
Here are some use cases to avoid.
